Here's another question from me.
My BSA can only be started with the injection of aids. And then with a lot of effort. sometimes it throws the fuel out through the air intake and backfires on the kickstart pedal.
Anyone have any ideas what I can do to fix this? Thank you in advance.
My M20 always started first kick, when idling the carburetor made a ticking noise due to a worn slide.
I mounted a new slide and after that the bike was very hard to start.
I compared the slides and the new one had a different cut-away, fitted the old one again and the starting problem was solved.
Never thought the wrong cut-away had such an impact on starting, so maybe something to check.
