Have stumbled across a vehicle state document which shows the motorcycles within "B" Detachment (working with 8th Army HQ in Italy) of No2 GHQ Liaison Regiment (Phantom) from 1945 and thought I'd post the details, just in case there's anyone collecting these sort of details.

The OP has stated that the motorcycles were allocated to "B" Detachment of of No2 GHQ Liaison Regiment (Phantom). I don't think it's possible to be more specific than that.

Ariel WN/Gs and Triumph 3HWs are very typical machines for the Italian campaign.
