my foot peg on my triumph trw is bent how do you straigten it i went to a steel fabricators they wouldnt do it as it is cast iron and might break does any body know how to do it also i do not know who gave me the advice of putting a piece of plastic bag under the filler cap to seal the tank when standing my bike had been standing for 11 months and started and run on a third of a tank
They are not cast iron and won't break if straightened...Consider the fact that they didn't break when they got bent in the first place....
You can straighten them cold but if you can't get a result that way heat as required...Allow them to cool naturally after heating...
