Colin Ellis and I are going over to Normandy from the 2nd to the 9th of June next year. The plan is for both of us to go over with our respective motorhomes and mine and Colin’s bikes in his box trailer to save costs. I have read that since Brexit, French customs have been somewhat problematic regarding bikes in trailers needing special carnets that cost a lot of money to take your bike in and out of France. I went to Spain in Feb this year and had no problems there. Anyone got any wisdom regarding this to pass on?
We went through this this year Neil. Here is the thread, which ends up that the carnet is not required. But maybe check with border force again in case they changed the rules again.
