Grease is the word.

Currently reassembling the M20 bike and have been looking at grades of grease for front fork bearings and suspension assemblies. I currently have a technical request out to Penrite Oil, as the specifications are many. Wonder if anyone can advise on what others have used in the past.? Many thanks.

Re: Grease is the word.

The bikes I use regularly, all have modern type 1/4 BSF nipples fitted and I grease the fork spindle with a modern gun and multi purpose Lithium grease. I've done it that way for many years (1-3 times a year depending on usage). The last thing I want is to have to re-bush the forks for the sake of a few minutes pump action. Ron

Re: Grease is the word.

Just to be different. I like to use a waterproof grease if it's exposed to the elements.
