Thanks to Lex I now know that my G3L was sold at auction from Bicester on 20/7/1960. My question is are there any records of these auctions and who bought what, as I know that the first registration was in Nairn in Scotland from the last two letters of the registration but all records for the area where disposed of when the dvla was created
