Hello guys, I am restoring my WD G3L Matchless and I need the correct handlebar.
Anyone can help me to get one or check the correct one?

During the war many handlebar was mounted on Matchless G3L, it shoul be helpful to anyone to know the differences between the various models.

I’m looking for the same, if anyone has some G3/L handlebars in reasonable condition that they would be willing to sell, I would be interested.

I’m also interested in knowing how the bars varied during the war, were differences significant, or were they just minor variations?

If I’m not able to source an original pair An alternative would be obtaining accurate bar measurements so that I could get a replica fabricated. I would be grateful for any help in this regard.

I've had a batch of G3L and G3WO handlebars and saddle springs made for John Tinley, copied from his originals and awaiting collection or for when we can meet up.
