Have just dismantled a 1941 WM20 gearbox and noted that there is a shim/oil retainer "possibly missing" between the Mainshaft Pinion and large bearing. I see on some diagrams its shown and in others its not clear if there is one. There is one okay between the bearing and the case.
Can someone let me know if one needs added before final assembly.
