I'm sorry but if you read back through the previous posts you will see the order book was closed for this particular batch so no more are currently available...I am still having problems with the production of these boxes and hope to meet up with the manufacturer next week to determine when the ones already ordered will become available....Ian
Is the battery box project still ongoing? I put my name down at the start, but I thought I'd check what the situation was as I've not been active on the forum for a number of months. I did a search on the forum, but nothing came up.
I'm afraid that after placing an order for battery cases and M20 damper knobs the chap that moulds them for me has disappeared without trace...I don't see any prospect of getting them made at the moment....The only option is one of Arnouds which are very well made...Ian
Arnaud is only able to make a few at a time, due to the long hours spent with his real job. I have another 3 or 4 coming which are mostly already spoken for, but I've emailed him for a 1940 if it's not too late. Ron

Thanks for the update Ian, that’s a shame. I’ve messaged Ron, hopefully Arnaud will have a spare one going. The bike is way off needing a battery, but I thought I’d get one whilst you were making one.

Above is my previous post regarding battery cases...Unfortunately the situation hasn't changed so Arnaud remains the only option....Ian
I have asked for a battery case before but did not get offered one. Please let me know by email when one will be available and I will purchase immediately.
I’ve just found out my wassell rubber battery box was not at fault. I thought it was too short. It seems my Indian made battery carrier was made the wrong size. Not the end of the world, it just needs the paint removing and cutting and welding.
