Re: New tyres

Thanks to you all for the info and advice.
I’m going to get the few small issues I have sorted and then I’ll be moving on with my shopping list ;)

You’ll be sick of me and my questions by the end of the restoration.

Aaron.

(If anyone knows of or where to get a WM Bakelite steering damper knob, that would be amazing)

Re: New tyres

Ian Wright advertised a week or so ago that he is getting some repros made. Put his name in the search box to find the post. Ron

Re: New tyres

Aaron, If you like autojumbles (and if you don't, you have the wrong era of motorcycle :relaxed: )Vintage Tyre are usually at both Netley (on the Friday) and Beaulieu...although they don't have much motorcycle stuff at Beaulieu so you'd be best off ordering.

Re: New tyres

Thanks Rik, I do like the autojumbles!! I’ve always been into Militaria and old toot so this bike suits me down to the ground.
Although I’ve not heard of either of the places you mentioned. I will be going to ardingly bike jumble on Saturday.

Re: New tyres

Thanks John, I found that out the hard way today 🤣

However, a nice breakfast and a good chat at verrals made it a good morning.
Picked up quite a rare bit too!!

Happy days.
