RAF azure

Wish to confirm that the blue colour partially seen in the attached photo may be of British origins.

Could be Henri. The paint code is BS 381C RAF Blue/Grey 633.

It looks more like Royal Navy 'Oxford' blue to me (or 'Trafalgar' blue)....Ian

These colours were used pre and post war on Navy vehicles...They were never a standard BSA colour on the XB31 which was black and silver....

I have no idea whether the B31 was used by the Navy post war, I've seen nothing to indicate that to date...Ian

Could it be a wartime chaincase from a cancelled BSA B30 contract? Didn't the RN receive a few of these ?
