A wedding.

On Tuesday of this week 6 bikes set off from my place to bath registry office. Dave Smith AKA Rupert Ratio (Of BSA unit single expertise) finally married his lovely partner Lisa. No messing around,it was straight back to ours for a very boozy reception. Also present was Lee Mitchell of WD BSA B40 expertise on his timewarp M20. It was a great day and the bikes caused great interest on our ride into Bath and back,Lisa coped very well having only recently gained a full licence.

Re: A wedding.

Very nice.
Congratulations !
(The last time someone married in militairy clothes must have been in 1945)

Re: A wedding.

Many thanks for the tribute john. I'm very proud of my wife for riding her own M20 to her own wedding (in ATS uniform before she put the frock on!).
A great day with great people and great bikes.

Re: A wedding.

I was so proud and privileged to have been part of the whole thing.
Congratulations to Dave and Lisa and thank you to all those there for their hospitality, kindness and sense of fun

Re: A wedding.

Congratulation.

I was wondering how the frock went on the bikes as there were no little black spots on it.

On a similar but sort of humerous nature. I was doing a wedding for an idiot who wanted HD escort but was too cheap to hire one of the professional outfits.
The church warden asked the rider to "move the bike from the footway " as the bride was getting out of my car.
The clot, gave the bike a fistful to express his displeasure showering the bride with gravel from the drive and covering her dress in little soot spots.
It took near 20 minutes of me, one hand up her skirt, dabbing the spots with Murlex to make her presentable.
