Hi,
I’m looking for any close up photos or exploded diagrams for the steering damper on a ‘44 M20, if anybody can help.

I’m restoring a bike from boxes of parts, I’m not sure if I have all the parts needed for the damper adjustment.

I’ve read online that the parts changed throughout the war.

The parts diagrams are confusing, as to which parts were on the ‘44 and what order the parts are fitted to the forks.

I think the steering damper was discontinued at some point in 1943?
But the illustration below shows the parts if you want to fit it. Ron
