Chaincase oil level

The oil level of the chaincase should it be too the big oil filler cap?? is the clutch dry or a oilchutch.

DEFINITELY NOT!! You don't mention what bike you're referring too. But usually there is a level plug near the bottom by the foot rest which gives about 20mm of oil. An M20 has a dry clutch which is protected from oil contamination with a tin hat cover. Ron

Why is there a lage plug above and a small one by the footrest large for flling .
And what is the quantity of oil.

The large one is for easier filling but also to check your chain tension. Remove the lower level plug, poor engine oil in the big plug until it starts to dribble out the lower plug...I guess it's about 1/3 pint. Ron
