I agree with Rik, The CO front down tube is not the strongest thing to hang a sidecar. but any 30's-50's small single seat chair could be used.
In fact my own CO had a small Watsonian "Wobbly Wheel" sidecar on it when I bought it and I did drive it a few times, but even with an extended rear brake pedal, the brakes left an awful lot to be desired.
Clamp on sidecar lugs would have been available for universal fitment to bikes with no factory fitted lugs. Ron
You are in Delta BC correct? I’m in New Westminster. I have a BSA sidecar chasis with its wheel. I’m told that it’s a light model from the late thirties. If you are looking for one you welcome to borrow mine to build a copy.
