pictures 3 and 4 are made in 1947 at Indie. The "22 ATT" aan en afvoer troepen just arrived in Surabaya at the end of 1947. My father (on the pictures) stayed there as a motorcycle mechanic for 3 years to repair many BSA, Matchless,Norton,Triumphs and Harleys.
His grandson is now driving (more then 70 years later) a Triumph 3HW as well !
