Re: HT Immobiliser or even a picture ?

Here is an immobiliser and some suppressors (I think there is an earlier version suppressor too)

The immobiliser could be faked with some suitable size rubber tube and slid on the HT lead and glued with silicon or something. The brass connector is the same as the cable connector on the tail lamp for instance.

With the suppressors, I never want to put any extra stain on my mags, so I gut them, drill them through with a 7mm drill bit and slide them on the lead with a dab of silicon.

Steve email me if you want a suppressor but the original immobilisers are very hard to find and I'm not parting with this one.Ron

Re: HT Immobiliser or even a picture ?

The brass connector inside the imobiliser looks not the same as the taillightconnector ron..they are made from a hexagon instead of knurling and the thread is much finer as the one on your pics.

I will email You in the morning .

I have a few of those, complete and NOS, rubber is in very good condition, no cracks etc.

Not knowing their value I am open to fair offers on my email-address if your interested.

Re: HT Immobiliser or even a picture ?

So is the idea that the two knurled sections fit in the rubber parts and you then remove the central screw to isolate the HT?

Re: HT Immobiliser or even a picture ?

You unscrew the brass thingy and take the top part of the lead with you when you park the bike up. Ron
