A wee off topic question...........

I have recently acquired a Triumph TRW. It came out of the Ordnance Storage and Disposal Depot at Ruddington in 1980. Would it be possible to find out where or who it served with. The Registration number would have been 03 EN 60.
Many thanks in advance.
Wishing everyone on the boards a very Happy Christmas and a Happy new Year.

Re: A wee off topic question...........

OK, Jimmy, it's from the Ruddington sales catalogs, but have not found your number, did find the followiing, starting with 03;

03EN00
03EN01
03EN02
03EN04
03EN06
03EN13
03EN20
03EN26
03EN35
03EN39
03EN44
03EN50
03EN58
03EN71
03EN78
03EN81
03EN92
03EN94
03EN97
03EN98

But have recently bought another stack of catalogs, so will have to go through them, but the info will only be the date of the sale, not much more.

Cheers,

Lex

Re: A wee off topic question...........

Rex
I have the Ruddington catalogue with my bike in it...it's the 164th.
The dates are 20th 21st and 22 MAY 1980.
It's on page 24 Lot Number 355 BB.

Is there any way of finding out what military unit it was with pre the auction??

Thanks
Jimmy

Re: A wee off topic question...........

Hi Jimmy,
A copy of the vehicle record card for your TRW 03EN60 is available to purchase from the RLC Museum. This usually gives units that the vehicle was allocated to and dates of transfer. Check out this webpage and enter the army registration number in the first box. https://www.rlcarchive.org/VehicleSrch

regards, Richard
