Just started making a new burman cp gearbox for my g3l matchless i have just bought a new layshaft and one new gear the gear when it came had no brass bush but fits on the new layshaft the old gear also fits on very well if you remove the brass bush the sliding gear and the two end gears also are a good fit .Will the gears be ok without the bushes or do i need to get another layshaft .thanks ps both gears have oiling holes drilled through them
