Re: Leaking exhaust

An exhaust firm or especially a tube bending specialist can can usually expand the pipe. But a smear of exhaust assembly paste as used by most exhaust fit places can work wonders.

Re: Leaking exhaust

I took a can of cat food and a strong pair of scissors and made a strip off about 1" wide.
Wrapped it 2 x round the exhaust pipe. Works well for many years now.
I can even take it apart and put it back on again.

Re: Leaking exhaust

As with Ron , I got mine expanded.
Got them to make the pipe a little bigger than the port then ran the engine for a few minutes to get the outlet hot & expanded then tapped the pipe in.
It had never moved a mm in near 20 years save the one time I took it off to get the new sleeve fitted and last year to swap the engines.
