My friend Benjamin Cameron from Vancouver Canada, just purchased this Norton WD16H;







Frame no is pretty messed up..
He thinks it has spent most of it's life in Canada but he's not sure. Any additional info is welcome..

Is that a leather rifle scabbard on the pannier frame, girder fork spring looks like it's been welded,has it come from India, I think they used rifle scabbards in India after the war, they sell replicas on ebay. Frame has been cut on back end, but still a nice find, are most of the parts with it.

Yes there is a rifle scabbard attached to the pannier frame. It resembles a lot of the rine stone leather work that I’ve seen on 40s/50s Harleys. The guy I got it from bought it from a bloke in Sourthen Alberta who apparently had it for years. Not sure if it started it’s life in India. It’s missing wheels (rear hub is there) , tool box and front mud guard and prolly a bunch of small items.
