Headed down south to the West Yorkshire BSA Camp at Breighton Ferry, where the River DERWENT flows into the river OUSE then into the HUMBER Estuary.
The Thunderstorm Warnings, Torrential Storms and Strong Winds were not a put off as the effects of Storm Miguel hit us, we watched the craft on the Derwent rise and fall a couple of feet
as the water spilt onto the edge of the camp site.
Who Dares Wins.
The storm washed the last of the Normandy dirt off the bike.
Might paint the bike desert yella to match in with the local Camel Corps! "there's sum queer fowk up ere int Yarkshire !!!"
Hi John
It was good to see your bike (and you of course) in the flesh for the first time
Sorry we didn't have chance for a natter as fellow WM20ers.
I did admire your bravery camping on the field, especially as the tide came in!
