DRs on a bridge.

Two DRs pose for a snapshot on a bridge, unknown location but writing on bricks could give a clue?

Re: DRs on a bridge.

It German writing, almost for sure.

Re: DRs on a bridge.

"leistungsfähiger" - but what ?

Re: DRs on a bridge.

I can see at the top the word 'Mole' which means they are probably not on a bridge but on part of a harbour... and leistungsfähiger means powerful, which doesn't help much, maybe propaganda.

Re: DRs on a bridge.

Its Great Yarmouth. Taken last week 😉!

Re: DRs on a bridge.

Not enough damage to be modern Yarmouth. Hitler did a lot of damage, but not as much as post war planners......:smirk:

Re: DRs on a bridge.

Are they DRs? White webbing would suggest Provost Corp.

Re: DRs on a bridge.

They're definitely military police, but somehow they don't look British to me and I can't see what's on the front mudguard. Could they be Czech ?

Re: DRs on a bridge.

I don't think they are Czech as the logo looks different here on the left hand page. On the other page (not shown) they are in Dunkirk and Prague, so it could be any dock or beach in Northern Europe....
