Has anyone out there had a go at repairing the points retaining clip on a K2F. Mine has a brass back plate with brass pillar. The steel spring clip (which is about to crack in half) is riveted onto this pillar.
I presume there used to be some sort of small rubber bung (now missing) that fitted into the hole in the shoulder of the points that the spring clip pushed onto.
