Help :), I'm at a loss with the type of 5/16" thread for the Fuel pressure release valve on the tank.

I have tried BSF , UNF , and even metric , M8 is closer than the others , could it be BSC ? . I've just sealed both tanks with POR 15 . I have managed to clean all the other threads apart from the pressure release valve ,if anyone can tell me what the thread is I can get hold of the correct tap and would also be very grateful as its got me beat what the thread is

I just took the brass knurled plug out of mine and I make it 5/16 BSW (18tpi)
