History on a 1942 WM20

It's my turn to restore my M20. I was wondering if anyone can help with any history on her. The frame number is WM20.59534 and engine number is WM 20.68804.

Hi Stephen

Are you in Australia? if so there may be some records there that can tell you more.

However your M20 left the BSA factory as part of contract C11101, 10,000 machines, probably early in 1942, and originally had the census number C4663277.

Thank you very much Rob. The information you have provided is so very helpful. Yes I am an Australian. With your contract number I've found an original hand book in the Victorian Library.
Again thanks.
