Please advise on my problem (miss fire). I have set the timing at the top and clean the carb carefully (not amal carb but previously it worked fine). My experience is once timing is correct and carb is cleaned the bike will be easy to start. I am suspect on the weak spark as the main problem. I was changed the timing of contact opening by mistake. The question is when the contact should be open to get good spark ? If we rotated the magnet (rotor) we can feel that there is the magnetic flux. Is the contact should be open after magnetic flux ? My magneto is not Lukas magneto. It is simple configuration just the magnet as rotor and primary secondary winding as stator.
