I'm not sure that we know exactly what was supplied by the factory. The toolkit illustration appears to show a 'Rexine' leathercloth roll. Certainly the Norton parts list refers to 'Leather'...but of course these things would have lasted about six months in use.
The WD replacement (for Norton at least) was numbered LV7.MT/6704 but I don't know that we've found an example with number to be certain about...some seem to have a pocket for grease gun etc., others don't.
I can certainly give you the dimensions for a post-war canvas roll but with no guarantee that it's correct for wartime issue - it looks about right though...
Your chances of finding a wartime-dated original with provenance nowadays are not very high.
