Re: wm 20 / km 20

According to O&M KM20 frame numbers from 318 - 5734 were used.....but with large gaps and incomplete data in the numbers. Ron

Re: wm 20 / km 20

1939 season M20s with the 'KM20' prefix were a mixture of Standard and DeLuxe models with War Department (and Dutch Military) production within the batches.

Frame no. KM20 915 was a civilian delivery sent, according to the frame and engine books respectively, to BSA Copenhagen or Kielsen Denmark during January 1939.

Bearing in mind that less than 18 months later, Germany had captured thousands of Dutch Army and WD M20s and occupied Denmark, almost any parts could have been interchanged.

Quite possibly, it saw the the war out with the Kriegsmarine !
