Hi Ian, i was wondering if you can help. A while back you said your valve clearance was set at a tight 0.8 and a loose 0.8, but, I can't find the link and wondered if you'd mind enlightening me some more. It would be much appreciated.

Hi Rosco..Yes, I've run non standard clearances for years now...

I thought the standard clearances seemed very large so I checked them when the engine was really hot and found there was still plenty of clearance...

I run mine at a 'tight' .008" for the inlet and a 'slack' .008" for the exhaust...

It quietens everything down and doesn't have any detrimental effect that I can perceive...

I think from previous discussions that Mick at Draganfly runs his at .006" on at least one valve...Perhaps he will clarify that if he sees this post...Ian
