Yes Ron, that been on the internet for a while! (but had not noticed the stamping of the headstock!) The inspectors stamp is M419, but not always all digits are present, due the curvature of the headstock.

Yes Lex. Some time ago I freeze framed that inspector and hung his picture near my Welbike as he's the bloke who must have actually stamped it in 1942. Ron
