Regarding the 'rod' type front operation. My literature doesn't show this part so does anyone have a parts diagram (or similar) or good photo of the part of the set up that mounts in the lug at the top of the girders? I can make something that will do the job but would like to know what it should, in theory, look like! Post on here or email me if that is easier, thanks. Duncan.
Thanks for the pointer Martyn, but no. I have all that. The top end goes in to, I guess, a short piece that passes through the threaded lug that sticks out forwards below the headlamp. It will accept the rod from below and the cable from above. Probably has a basic adjuster for the cable tension. It is easy enough to visualise something that will do the job, but if I can make it something like the real thing - even better. Thanks again though. Duncan
