Does it matter which direction you mount the crankshaft bearings 24-724?

The outer bearing fits into the crankcase with the 'open' side facing the crank..

The inner bearing is fitted to the crank before assembly of the crankcases...

If you used a sealed 6205 bearing (the outer ball bearing) remove the inner seal before fitting and fit its retaining clip before fitting the roller bearing outer...

Ensure the spacer between the bearings is the correct length..1.000"-1.005"..Ian
