The MT110 has a hollow nut threaded in the end which the wire goes through. How does the wire connect inside?? I'm wondering if I'm missing a part? Thanks!
Sam it's about the same as any other lamp. Inside the socket that holds the bulb is a spring with a fibre washer on top. In the centre of the washer is a nipple soldered onto the cable. (Just a blob of solder will do).
Here is one I bought recently which is either a post war version or one of the excellent Czech repros. It has a stop tail bulb, which is something you can fettle your lamp to do if you wanted to. Ron
