Can somebody tell me where to by the worm wheel for the spedo drive. Because I have a spedo drive without it.

I think the answer is you can't get new one's, search for second hand spares is all you can do I'm afraid. Good luck.

Look for a rigid C11 bsa one. It will just need the centre axle hole enlarged. Mind you these are just as hard to find as a WM20 one. They turn opposite to the more common types on other makers.

Likewise you can use a speedo drive from a post war Flying Flea. Again you have to bore the spindle hole bigger. Ron

I don't believe that spare parts have ever been available separately. I've never seen them listed in parts books, nor have I ever seen 'New Old Stock' components.

Smiths and their agents must have had access to spares for the instruments themselves but don't seem to have ever reconditioned the drives.
