oil tank decal possition

Hi Guys
Sorry if this has been discussed before but i could not find any thread to help. Is there a factory position for the "minimum oil level" decal ?

Which bike are you talking about? I don't think BSA M20s had them during the war.

I have just taken a look and I have no factory photos of war time BSA's with a decal on the oil tank. Not even on the proto-type photos I have.
