Anyone from near Hastings going to Stafford?

A strange request, but I have to get a penny farthing wheel down to Hastings area. It is 50" in diameter so it would probably really only fit in a van or similar. I can't make it to Stafford but my friend said he'd take it to Stafford with him. I can pay £30 for it which would help with your fuel costs. (This is the price "Shiply" wanted to take it down there but I got messed around too many times with promised collections) so if anyone could help I'd be grateful even if you are just going past there and could drop it in.

If you can't shift it you could use it on the front of an extreme M20 'Bagger'... ...Ian

Yebbut, it's about as far from sunny Hastings as it's possible to get in England....you'd be taking Dave's wheel in the wrong direction !

No, I need it picking up from Stafford and dropping off as close as I can to Hastings, not the other way round!
I also have Arnauds battery that needs dropping off with Ron who I don't think is going to Stafford if anyone is going that way too

I will be in Stafford this year with my new wheels - VW Transporter - so it should fit in there

I can get the wheel to London area (Windsor) without any problem

Hastings might take some more arranging

I live near john, and I can prob get it to my mum and dads house in brenchley near tunbridge wells in kent, which are of the A21 that goes straight to hastings
