I am looking for a better quality photo then the one I have here.

Any war time BSA photo especially with a clear tank number on it is VERY welcome.

It shows Tom Richmond, front left as you see it, on service in Burma.

I have been told it was late 1944/v. early 1945 in Burma.

Hope some of them are of use. These are from my BSA collection, there may be more in the unsorted section.

I think I duplicated one of the pictures of the Czech bikes, but I notice the c number is seperated by a dash, which I have not seen on other bikes.

Darren, thank's for posting that initial photo. I'm not too good on the late-war accessories, but are they Talflow filters rather than Vokes ?

Some nice images in that second batch. No.6 looks like a Triumph though !

They are indeed Talflow filters so that makes it rather strange, I was under the impression they only used these very early during the war.

Yes, the Czechs with the B4's there is a whole series of those, pictures taken in Cheshire, in the gardens of Cholmondeley Castle. a friend who lives near, says the gates and fences are still the same!!

The ATS? girl is on a 250sv. Enfield.

Here a photo Rick Holt send me, lots of information with this photo:

lance Corporal John Docherty in Damascus in 1942-43.He and a colleague being in the know were put in charge of a cement factory.The factory supplied all the requsites for the British army in that area and North Africa.The only cement factory I can find in the area was at Nesher,it is still in production today.He used the bike to take the paperwork H.Q. in Damascus .John survived the war
