I've had this Ariel W/NG for many years now........

Seen here when first acquired as a box full of bits in the early 1990's and in recent years with Mrs M on-board...........I've restored this bike twice during ownership which is the same as many, constantly improving upon her...........I'm certain Ian Wright has done similar with his M20 ?

Yes indeed..I restored mine a while after I bought it (it was tatty but running when purchased) and then twice in the next 26 years...

It's being fully restored (slowly) at the moment for the third time..

Generally it was running mechanically pretty well each time I have restored it, though there has always been accumulated wear of various components..Restoration has been necessary to preserve the tinware mainly, much of which is original...

It's got better each time as I take more trouble with it..

I've done considerably over 100,000 miles on the M20 and the current, extremely thorough restoration will be the last during my ownership I imagine....Ian
