Hi All

some years ago, some one was modifying "chequered plate" wartime front footrests to the early war type equipped with rubber mounts

I cannot reemember who this was - does anyone recall ?

Failing this

1/ does anyone have a set of the early war type footpegs they would sell
2/ Does anyone know who can someone modify for me a wartime set to early war specification - this is the type fitted with rubber and secured by a large washer and bolt

Although I can build the bike at home, I currently have no real engineering equipment, welders, grinders etc to allow me do this work

John I think the easiest option is to get some post war pegs and just get someone to drill and tap the ends. Ron

I have a pair/set of very nicely converted footrests I am about to sell as I recently bought an original pair on eBay.

I paid £40 pound to have them converted (if memory serves) - am prepared to let them go for that plus p&p if interested.
