My original cz27 case is crumbling! Can anybody think of a way of reinforcing it? It has several cracks in the case on the lower, thin brass part of it . Regards andy

I have just done a fragile AJS seat base with glass fibre matting and resin. I just used a repair kit from Halfords but the matting in that is coarse grade.....can you get fine grade? Ferg

You can buy many grades of matting. Try a Ship Chandlers lots of small boats are fibre glass.

Lots on Ebay try the Surface Tissue Matting, that's very fine.

I have just the case complete with some internals but no face or needle, the glass is slightly domed (pre war), yours for a tenner! Please email me off forum
