I've just bought a WM20 (approx March 1941) and it has an Army rebuild plate from REME from 1952. It has the bike's Army reg number on the plate and I was wondering if there's anyway of finding out any history about it?

Army reg number is 65 YG 24

Hi Tom,

With your frame and engine number I can usually find quite a bit of information. Especially if it's really from 1941, after frame number WM20 69699 the factory information we have stops but there is usually still some history known.
