I'm in urgent need of one, or a pair, of rear wheel adjustment cams for a rigid B31/33...1946-53...

I will buy a pair if available and in good condition, or buy one if it's in good condition for use as a pattern...

Alternatively does anyone know of a source where I can buy new ones?...

Finally, if none of the above, does anyone have a good one I can borrow as a pattern...?..The loan would be appreciated and rewarded...Ian

talking about plating watching an American car building show they had some bits cadmium plated just from a normal plating shop I thought it was banned because it was toxic

Cad plating is not banned at all Roger. But the monitoring of any outgoing obnoxious or dangerous effluents is so stringent that most plate shops don't want the hassle.

Nowadays I think it's left to those firms who plate stuff for the MOD or large firms where they can charge enough to warrant the aggravation.

I regularly get cad plating done in Essex.....Even though there is a firm just two miles from me in Poole who will undertake cad plating.......But their prices are just ridiculous Ron
