Why do Australians refer to us as POHM'S. Surely they are the POHM'S. They're all descendants of thieves, cut throats, martyrs, rustlers and stealer's of loves of bread. Ron
Oh dear, I've picked a scab here me thinks!
Yes, sorry about neighbours and home and away! we do let you win the ashes occasionally tho (although not at the moment)
Rolf shattered me! you can keep him on porridge , the rest of us thieves and pickpockets will remain here doing our pennence riding year round and drinking cold beer !.....I think I've covered it all ? I'll just crawl in the shell scrape and await the barrage
Cheers Stu
Ps.really sorry about the ashes.
Stu,
Don't worry, they couldn't hit the near side of a thunder box.
A SWMS and PPE may be in order though, to protect you from the barrage of whinging.
They also don't know their history very well either, transportation wasn't to all states, and that most of them came after it ceased.
Do you know why the are called POMS?
It is the colour their skin goes in the sun, pomegranate.
I would be in the shed Ric, but i have to keep coming in to check on some of the ramblings that go on here !
Obviously the pics were taken when the bikes first arrived and the diggers had to sort out assembly line issues !
Cheers Stu
Ps. I think you'll find "Whinging Pom" is in the Oxford
Note; the third photo down... Looking at the blackout headlight, I believe I have a few of them, they are in a mess of Duck (DUKW) amphibian parts that I've acquired. Are they a rare part?
