Correct use of Tools

What is she doing with that adjustable ? Probably tightening...and then working across herself...

When I was an apprentice Toolmaker we weren't allowed to have an adjustable spanner in our toolbox..
It was considered, with some justification, a 'bodgers' tool that was likely to damage any hexagon it was applied to...

I think the photo illustrates that point only to well...Ian

Me and my local mates call them Timmy Wrenches. Because it's all our mate Indian Tim ever seems to have in his tool kit........Along with about three metric spanners.

.....Give the screw driver full credit...it's a scraper, punch, pry bar and paint stirrer as well... ....Ian

Wasn't that style of adjustable invented by Bahco of Sweden, so is the picture maybe from that region? Anorak now removed...
