Signals Musem

I visited the Signals museum at Blandford Camp in Dorset today. I took pictures of most of the bikes and their 11 set Wireless. Here are the two M20's for criticism!

They had both their WB40's labled as 500cc bikes.....Is that right? I thought they were 350's? Ron

Re: Signals Musem

The YE numbered one we can look up now, Henk has the scans and the originals at the moment.

The Vokes (if you can call it that) is "interesting"

Cheers,

Re: Signals Musem

Now there were 2 model B40's.
But if you are takling the unit single, then yes it is 350, well 343 to be exact.
The earlier model was 4.75Hp
Not common for museums to get things wrong.
We have a one owner member who is also a "Queens Rifle" so he is quite well informed when it comes to long arms.
Every time we go to a museum, he starts to correct the guide.
So far he has been correct 100% of the time.
the worry is how few seem concerned that their displays are wrong.
