You can spot a spammer fraudster from email number one usually.
I like to string them along a bit.

I got few mails regarding winning the lottery here and there,
And in order to get $10000000 I only have to pay some $150 for the arrangements..

After I sent a "Thank you letter", just in order to see if he will reply,
Which he sure did..

I replied to the guy that he may want to save this mail from me as a proof:
He will pay the $150 expenses for me, and I would, in return split the 10000000 with him.

Or my account would be immediately disabled..

Its truth one can usually spot them right away:
The bulky language, and/or too good to be truth offers or silly threats..

Best done from a fake email address and never give phone numbers or home address.

I dson't know if it's still around but a good Spam baiting site (and a good laugh) used to be Ebola Monkey. He would keep the Nigeian scammers going for months.....

Ha yea I have no motive but to try to mess with these spammers and maybe try to get a bit of humanity out of them, they are so robotic and detatched. I thought If i get into a humerous conversation i could get an idea of the person behind the criminal, but they always vanish when it gets vaugely compicated/wierd. Then i just send an email saying 'fuck you and stop trying to steal money'


on another occasion, i said yes send me pictures of the parts(for a laugh) and I was sent a photo of a b31 that was obviously googled, because if i googled b31 it was the first picture that appeared.
so i said ' thats my bike, it was stolen last week, i have called the police'
ha ha ha
needless to say i never heard from that one again

I had a similar thing happen, I lost out on a Norton Inter on ebay and I was gutted. So I put an advert in the wanted section on the Norton Owners Club. I had a reply from someone saying they had an Inter and were in Spain, which was a coincidence as I was going to Spain the next week and hoped I could see the bike. I had no reply when I asked where he was so alarm bells rang, I asked for pictures still nothing. I knew this was a scam now and eventually he sent me pictures. He sent me the picture of the bike I'd just missed out on from ebay I knew he didn't have that bike because it went to one of the Bristol NOC members I think I called him every F'ing thing I could think of
