We looked at that, scary thing to ride the way the front comes up, and kick starting it would be fun too, as the lever is up high.

The tank is lower than the carb so would it have a fuel pump or a pressurised tank like on a Welbike?

HiRob,that must be a beast of a machine,can't see if it is a four stud or five stud.
Five stud is the longer stroke version.Basically a speedway engine,or grasstrack,but still very powerful.The 500cc running methanol(five stud long stroke) could give
about 53 BHP.I have no info on the 350.Great to see you again at Netley,next year ?

Lehaitre, of Paris, France, features a tractor-type drive belt as its means of locomotion in place of conventional wheels. Named the “tractor-cycle” by the inventor, the novel vehicle is said to be superior to an ordinary motorcycle in its ability to climb steep and rough grades, although its speed on level ground is limited to about 25 m.p.h.

Steering is accomplished by handlebars which control a sideways motion of the drive belt.
