The contract plates from the ebay seller from Spain are to small, I have just seen one next to an original one and it really not nearly big enough. Better not get one from that guy.

I think the ones fitted to later Welbikes were smaller, perhaps he copied one of those?

Compared to an original one from contract C7287 it looked rather small and not suitable for the big bikes. The two holes were also to close together.

I didn't knew that about the welbike plates, might be what he used as an example.

I have a prototype here made by a guy in India and that one looks good. They should be available soon (a while ago to be honest). They will be good and affordable.

Welbike plates (2nd and 3rd contracts only, 1st had no plates) are 2-3/4" wide, "Normal" plates steel and brass are 3-3/16"wide, so a huge diffrence!

He wil make a new batch in the correct size ( i gave him the mea)
surements of an original one)
So lets see how this turns out.

Well done Leon, I've got one from Spain too and an original for my contrat just sold for £73...!! So I won't be buying an original.

I got the new contract plate via post.
Sizing is correct now, also the thickness is ok! The bottom one is an Original one.
