After my disapointment at not being able to bring my WM20 to Normandy, I am please to report that it is now finished (as much as they ever are), and will be making it's first public showing at the Maquis Bernard in the Morvan on Saturday. The event is to commemorate the men of the Maquis Bernard and the SAS soldiers who joined them in June 1944. There is going to be a parachute drop, a 'Présenation de véhicules militaires d'epoque', and a service at the Maquis Cemetery, which is deep in the forest, and a most evocative place to visit.
Pics of the bike are at:

Scorp, forget about Rik and his sexual innuendo's, He's a very naughty boy
I still want to know about your unit markings......We can talk about your ring piece over a nice pink gin on a quiet evening out
Great job Scorp You're a brave man showing off your ring on the internet I've resisted the temptation as I'm not getting in the back of Ron's van alone for the initiation
scorpion could not show this beautiful bike I am still having withdrawal symptoms form selling mine fighting it hard not to buy another one PS is it for sale
